My daughter was having the WORST week. She stopped in here and ordered for her and her children. They let her know the kids would eat for free tonight because it was Thursday. The workers had no clue what she was going through but it was such a blessing for her. The food was delish and everyone very kind. Now I personally can’t Wait to try it
We ordered ahead to save time, even though we were eating here. Needn't have bothered; still waited for the food preparation. Oh well.... Very good food. Haven't dined-in here since pre-pandemic. The 5-cheese lasagna was delicious. Taco salad had lots of olives i.l.o. the spurned jalapeños. It was "fine" according to my dinner companion. She loved the breaded/fried mushrooms appetizer. The cinnamon nuggets were tasty, but needed more cinnamon/sugar. Basically fried bread pieces (but again, tasty). I'll augment the plentiful leftover pieces when we eat them back home. Didn't try the pizza this time. All in all, a pleasant experience with an attentive server and appetizing comestibles. We'll be back when driving by Dekalb again in the future. This is much better than the standard fare at the tollway oasis outside of town.
Every time we are in the kelp, we have to come to this pizza joint must visit You can customize your pizzas. The thin crust is the bomb. Staff is friendly ! Classic 90s style pizza joint
Great pizza and very unique I must admit but overpriced let alone for Dekalb. Two veggie toppings X-large and $40 is pretty pricey especially for not being in a major city. It's good though just need to be a bit more practical pricing wise. But as owner replied life is expensive so support local they are worth it! Ambience is warm and cozy too and very family friendly.
Great pizza and service. Sausage and onions thin crust With Villa nuggets. The the perfect pizza. Sauce and cheese combination makes the perfect pizza.
Pizza Villa in DeKalb delivers a classic, satisfying pizza experience, highlighted by their commitment to fresh ingredients. Pizza Villa Special: “This Dekalb favorite comes loaded with our home seasoned Italian sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onion.” I added pepperoni and it did not overwhelm the dish. This sausage, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, and pepperoni pizza is a standout, with each topping bringing bold, distinct flavor. The real star is the fresh mushrooms—earthy, tender, and noticeably superior to the canned variety you’ll find elsewhere. Combined with perfectly seasoned sausage and crisp bell peppers, it’s a balanced, flavorful bite every time. I also added the perfectly crispy potato wedges (do yourself a favor and sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on them generously while they are hot) and a good old fashioned Root Beer Float. I felt like I was in a different era.
First time dining here tonight and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They could tell we were new and let us know the process. (You have to pay and place your order for the food at the counter, then pay for drinks at the table). We were told we could try the new garlic Parmesan fries. It was delicious and the price was a great deal. Since it was Thursday kids ate free so we got our son his own personal pizza off the kids menu and we shared a 16 which I think was actually bigger than a normal 16. It came out to $35. Cheapest meal we've had as a family here in DeKalb and the food was phenomenal. We ordered 3 drinks and they have free refills so it came out to 8 in total. That's a grand total of $43.what a deal!!. We ate downstairs at the arcades and even the games were affordable. Just 2 quarters to play a lot of the games. All in all this was a great experience. We will definitely be coming back. And also, they have the big slice and a drink for only $4.50 evey day!!! Honestly this is the best pizzeria in DeKalb. This is our new spot and I recommend everyone to go here as well.
